The Sig 550 was designated as a marksman's rifle because of its long barrel length and built in bi-pod. Don't worry though, it has a built in folding stock that allows you to still use in CQB area where you need to be able to reach door knobs and turn tight corners with easy. The picatinny weaver rail (not mounted) that is included with the rifle allows you to connect any picatinny weaver mounted optics with ease from your favorite red dot to scope. The Sig 550 also features an ambidextrous, easy to reach fire selector that can be reached with a simple flick of your thumb. This eliminates the need to reposition your rifle to chang firing modes. Our favorite part about the Sig 550 is the unique battery storage in the fore grip that allows the player to discretely hide his battery while not sacrificing the ability to use 8.4v and 9.6v stick style batteries.
