The Echo 1 USA Red Star Covert is a fantastic AK47 replica AEG airsoft rifle. Only a few parts on this entire gun are made out of polymer plastics and even than these are ballistic grade. Those parts are the bottom foregrip, sight carriage and the guns pistol grip. All other parts on the rifle, barrel, body, stock, dust cover, front sight and scope mount are made of stamped metal in the same fashion that the actual AK47s are.

Shooting 380 FPS stock with .20 gram BBs makes this gun an excellent mid to long range shooter. Coupled with the 455mm length barrel you can get very accurate shots when your adjustable hop-up is set correctly. Expect to get an accuracy of 150-200 feet when using a .20 gram BB when shooting a human size target! Upgrading to a heavier weight, like .25 you can expect tighter groupings at longer distances to.
